To learn more about Forged brass and the other types of manufacturing processes of bathroom accessories, please refer to the following comparison outline.
.
A. Forged Brass
A superior manufacturing process whereby , forging presses exert tremendous pressure on heated pure brass producing a product free of imperfections. The product is then hand polished before receiving a high temperature lacquered coating. Chromed products are over solid brass forming a natural bond which prevents tarnishing.
.
B. Stamped Brass
A manufacturing process where very thin sheet brass is molded into configurations similar to a cookie cutting operation. This process yields products that are lightweight, prone to dents, and will not wear as long as solid forged brass.
.
C. Molded Alloy
A mixture of inexpensive metals melted down into a liquid, then molded into configurations. Usually plated in "brass like" and "chrome like" finishes. Not as durable and long lasting as solid forged brass.
